Position: Sr. Officer HR - Payroll

Location: Karachi

Job Description:

The position is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, employee clearances, Insurance, PF, full and final settlements, and statutory compliance with EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI.

Additionally, this role will involve recruitment support and leveraging advanced Excel skills to optimize payroll and HR reporting processes. The position requires a blend of HR operations expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and a focus on efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
  • Oversee employee Insurance, PF, clearances and full & final settlements in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI.
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit mandatory compliance reports.
  • Assist with recruitment processes.
  • Generate and analyze payroll and HR data using advanced Excel functions to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the HR team to address employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth HR operations and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members of system, SOPs and policies.

Qualifications & Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll management, and statutory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, Insurance, PF, EOBI, SESSI, and PESSI regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software (FlowHCM is a big plus)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
