What you’ll do

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the strategic direction for an assigned projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and long-term business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and best practices across multiple projects/sites for pre-construction, planning, and execution activities.
  • Mentor, guide, and provide high-level supervision to a team of Project Managers and Managers, fostering their professional development and ensuring project consistency.
  • Act as the primary executive-level point of contact for major clients, strategic partners, and high-level regulatory/permitting authorities, resolving complex, high-stakes issues.
  • Negotiate and manage master service agreements (MSAs) and oversee the selection and performance evaluation of key, strategic subcontractors and vendors across the entire project portfolio.
  • Review, approve, and finalize comprehensive project estimates, budgets, and financial projections developed by project teams, maintaining ultimate fiscal accountability for the project.
  • Directly manage the preparation and review of executive-level financial reports on project performance, cost-to-budget tracking, and monthly progress/final billings.
  • Coordinate the strategic efforts and resource allocation between multiple internal departments to ensure maximum efficiency across all managed projects.
  • Enforce corporate-level safety and quality control (QC) standards across all sites, ensuring enterprise-wide regulatory compliance.
  • Review and approve complex construction documents, plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports for constructability, risk mitigation, and adherence to client requirements before project execution begins.
  • Lead the investigation, assessment, and due diligence for potential new project sites and attend high-level pre-bid meetings for major, strategic opportunities.
  • Build, cultivate, and sustain executive-level professional working relationships with clients to drive future business growth.
  • Maintain the ability to travelto provide executive oversight and support for geographically diverse project sites or to attend key client meetings.

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • 10 years of project management experience required, construction experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Current valid driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and oral forms.
  • Able to work closely with customers, clients, vendors and co-workers.
  • Ability to manage and effectively lead team and establish trusting relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to read, analyze and write business correspondence/proposals.
  • Possess the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • The ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.
