Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage the quality assurance and control functions across both factory and site operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing robust quality systems, supervising QA/QC teams, conducting detailed inspections, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of façade systems, and the ability to drive continuous quality improvements throughout all project phases.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Leadership & Management

• Lead, supervise, and mentor QA/QC inspectors for both factory and site operations.
• Implement, update, and monitor approved QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team capability and ensure uniform quality standards.

Inspection & Compliance

• Carry out inspections of incoming materials, fabrication processes, and on-site installations to ensure full compliance with project specifications and international codes.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure timely closure with corrective and preventive actions.
• Verify installation quality of façade systems including curtain walls, ACP cladding, unitized systems, structural glazing, skylights, louvers, and related aluminum works.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspection agencies for approvals, inspections, and material compliance.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements from a quality perspective.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection logs, test reports, material traceability, calibration records, and final handover documentation.

Audits & Quality Improvement

• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits for ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
• Identify recurring issues, analyze root causes, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure QA/QC integration within production, installation, procurement, and project execution workflows.

Technical Support

• Provide technical guidance to production teams, installers, and project engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Support mock-up inspections, performance tests, material testing, and site quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of dedicated QA/QC experience in aluminum and façade projects (factory and site exposure required).
• Strong leadership experience managing QA/QC teams and workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of façade systems including unitized, stick, curtain wall, structural glazing, ACP, and related aluminum systems.
• Proven experience working with consultants, main contractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
• Excellent ability to read/interpret technical drawings, specifications, and QA/QC documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
