OpenText is the market leader in Enterprise Information Management platforms and applications. As a Software Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You become a member of one of our Agile based project teams, focusing on product development. It is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems

What the role offers:

• Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios
• Handle the testing of assigned components independently
• Participate in test automation and load testing
• Apprise the QA Lead/PM of the status on regular basis.
• Analyze the risks involved in completing the tasks

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field/ MCA with 5-7 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in manual / automated testing of Client-server and web based applications
• Experience in integration/system testing and load testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
• Maintain the Automation Framework.
• Testing Techniques
• Understanding of SDLC
• Performance/Load testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, etc
• Integration/system testing
• Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL
• Testing best practices, test coverage, reports
• Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development processes
• Knowledge of API Testing using open-source tools
