Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Aluminum & Façade to lead the commercial, cost control, and contract administration functions for façade and aluminum works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of façade systems, proven experience in tendering and commercial management, and the ability to ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting contractual commitments. This role requires strong analytical abilities, commercial acumen, and leadership capabilities within the UAE construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all quantity surveying and commercial functions for aluminum and façade projects.
• Prepare, review, and verify BOQs, detailed cost estimates, and tender documentation for various façade systems including curtain walls, structural glazing, ACP, louvers, skylights, and unitized systems.
• Assess subcontractor quotations, prepare price comparisons, and support procurement with cost evaluations.
• Administer and manage contracts including preparation of letters, claims, variations, and contractual notices.
• Monitor and control project budgets, cash flows, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and validate material requirements with the design and procurement departments.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive deals.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and engineering departments to ensure commercial objectives align with project execution.
• Prepare interim valuations, progress payment applications, and final account documentation.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for value engineering and cost optimization.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, project specifications, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of QS experience in the UAE, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in aluminum and façade projects.
• Strong understanding of façade systems such as curtain walls, unitized systems, ACP, glazing, and cladding.
• Proven expertise in tendering, estimation, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS/estimation software.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting abilities.
• Solid understanding of FIDIC and commonly used UAE construction contracts.
• Ability to work independently and supervise junior QS staff when required.
