DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity which requires a talented marketeer to help Amazon Prime Video scale globally across India, South East Asia and Australia-New Zealand markets segments. Your mission is to drive growth through strategic storefront management across business lines, retail integration (x-site), and sports merchandising initiatives in the region. This role requires a data-driven marketer who can turn insights into actionable strategies to drive strong engagement outcomes while working with multiple stakeholders across different regions.
This role requires strong business and customer first acumen and offers exposure to multiple senior stakeholders within Amazon Prime Video. As this function has direct impact to business outcomes, it is a perfect fit for an ambitious, strategic, self-starter with a keen understanding of the customer funnel and who's particularly energized to accelerate growth and looking for new areas to learn and scale.
The candidate should be an experienced marketer with deep customer marketing knowledge, and experience driving conversion across different market contexts. Candidates will have experience working cross-functionally across internal teams, as well as an aptitude for data analysis. A mind for innovation, thinking big, and learning through testing is highly valued. This role will be based out of Mumbai, working closely with teams across SEA5 and AUNZ regions.

Key job responsibilities
This is an individual contributor role. Sharp analytical skills, high ownership and customer obsession, and proven ability to prioritize ruthlessly to achieve results will be critical to succeed in this role.
  • Drive Customer Engagement across multiple regions: Full ownership of customer engagement metrics across different market segments, understanding, analyzing and reporting them on a regular cadence (weekly, monthly, annually) to respective country leadership teams, taking actions to increase engagement, and influencing others where required.
  • Audit and update existing data pipelines in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Tech teams to ensure the highest level of data quality. Define and run tests, including A/B experiments to test new features and/or inform new product development
  • Execute Sports Merchandising Strategy: Design and implement storefront strategies for major sporting events including NBA, NFL, and Cricket New Zealand, maximizing engagement and conversion through targeted merchandising approaches
  • Manage X-site Integration: Drive strategic placement and optimization of Prime Video content across Amazon retail websites, ensuring maximum visibility and conversion from retail to video streaming services
  • Plan for Regional Success: Design customer-driven storefront roadmaps for each market segment, aimed at increasing engagement and conversions, leveraging personalization, global tools and manual overrides
  • Optimize for Regional Performance: Execute market-specific strategies through systematic programming and experimentation. Utilize regional data to build operating plans that maximize conversions daily across different market segments
  • Influence Global Product: Interface with Global Storefront Product teams and hold them accountable to driving performance in the region. Contribute to and manage experiments from a regional perspective.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across multiple regional teams to provide visibility for entertainment content, sports events, and x-site initiatives. Lead with confidence and conviction in prioritizing levers across market segments

The O&O Team is a close-knit collaborative team working across multiple regions with strong aptitude for data and ability to manage complex tasks. This team takes full ownership of customer engagement which requires a solid grasp of key engagement metrics and a track record of high performance across different market segments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience with A/B Testing or Multi-Variate Testing or both

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
