Responsibilities:
- Performs dental procedures, oral diagnosis, and patient education and consultation necessary for patient welfare and treatment.
- Provides direct supervision to dental assistants and dental hygienists.
- Educates patients on proper dental care, consults with medical staff on patient treatment when necessary.
- Assists Dental Director in planning, execution and supervises staff in absence of Dental Director.
- Participate in completing annual evaluation of staff as requested by the Dental Director
- Complete Annual Assistant Competencies for dental assistants that the dentist directly supervises.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited dental institution with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree.
- The dentist must be a dental health care provider licensed to practice in the state where the health center is located.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $147,809.00 - $181,245.00 per year
