Store Merchandising Associate

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Store Merchandising Associate to join our retail team. This role involves designing, planning, and executing visual displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for design, and excellent communication abilities. Experience with design software and retail merchandising strategies is highly valued. Duties

• Develop and implement compelling visual layouts using tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Create effective planograms to optimize product placement and inventory management
• Design engaging in-store displays that align with branding and marketing strategies
• Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock levels through inventory management systems
• Coordinate with store staff on merchandising plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
• Oversee the setup of signage, fixtures, and other visual elements to enhance store aesthetics
• Assist in retail sales activities including cashiering, customer service, and retail math calculations
• Maintain organized workspace and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Support marketing initiatives through visual content creation and layout design

Experience

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and SketchUp is required; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
• Knowledge of branding principles, interior design, and visual merchandising techniques
• Experience with retail sales, inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer service is preferred
• Multilingual skills are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Prior experience in retail environments involving merchandising, marketing, or visual design is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
