Storekeeper

Responsible for overseeing the inventory of parts, tools, and supplies critical to the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles. This role requires efficient management of stock, coordination with the workshop team, and meticulous record-keeping to support timely and uninterrupted operations.

Maintain accurate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables for fleet repairs and maintenance. • Regularly perform inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with records. • Identify stock shortages and proactively order supplies to avoid delays in fleet operations. • Track incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring correct labeling and categorization. • Maintain accurate documentation for all stock movements and update inventory records in the system. • Prepare periodic inventory reports for review by the Workshop Supervisor. • Work closely with mechanics and technicians to ensure they have the required parts and tools. • Quickly locate and distribute items needed for maintenance tasks, minimizing downtime. • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries for urgent parts when needed. • Perform basic checks and maintenance of storage equipment (e.g., shelves, racks) and report any issues to the supervisor.
