Job Summary
Structural Designer-
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop construction documents, including plans, details and sections, for buildings and other structures.
- Preparing calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structural materials utilizing current building codes (IBC and ASCE 7)
- Coordinate directly with architectural and other engineering disciplines
- Survey existing structural systems for analysis of renovation projects
- Visit sites under construction to review progress and prepare field reports
Required education, skills, and experience
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineer
- 2-4 years of structural engineering experience
- Experience in designing structural systems for commercial, multifamily, industrial, retail, and similar buildings.
- Experience in designing steel, wood, concrete and masonry with current IBC and ASCE 7 building codes.
AutoCAD and Revit for drafting; Structural Design software such as RAM, Enercalc, and excel Spreadsheets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
