Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer (Part-Time)

A fast-growing civil engineering consulting firm specializing in [Vertical and Horizontal sectors], is expanding its team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a part-time Structural engineer. This role offers an excellent compensation package and the opportunity to work remotely from India.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience with structural analysis and design with strong knowledge in various types of buildings in concrete steel masonry and wood. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing new and existing building structures, and shop drawing reviews complying with USA codes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s or PhD degree preferred.
• Experience with Structural Analysis and design with strong knowledge in various types of buildings in concrete, steel, masonry and wood (the residential buildings of low rise to mid rise ) and Timber Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in structural design software.
• Strong understanding of USA building codes, standards, and regulations- Use of US codes of practice such as IBC, AISC, ACI and Wood design codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred:

• CAD background
• Ability to check and review submittals EIT accredited in US.

Salary: Depending on work experience
