Structural Engineer (B.tech Must)

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Analysis:

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC, steel and composite structures.
• Develop and review design calculations, models and drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards and project specifications (e.g., IS, ACI, BS, Eurocode).
• Optimize design solutions considering safety, cost and constructability.
• Conduct load calculations, foundation design and connection detailing.

2. Drawing & Documentation:

• Prepare and review structural drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) documents and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with drafting teams to ensure accuracy of drawings and detailing.
• Maintain a comprehensive design documentation package, including revisions and approvals.

3. Coordination & Interface:

• Collaborate with architectural, MEP and civil teams to ensure design integration.
• Attend design coordination meetings and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• Provide technical support to project and site teams during construction.
• Review and approve vendor designs and subcontractor submissions.

4. Site Support & Quality Assurance:

• Conduct site visits to verify structural implementation as per drawings.
• Provide guidance for design modifications, RFI clarifications and material substitutions.
• Assist in resolving structural issues, non-conformities and technical deviations.

5. Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare and present design progress reports and technical summaries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards in design.
• Support the preparation of structural design basis reports (DBR) and method statements.

6.Software Skills:

• Design: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Tekla Structural Designer
• Drafting: AutoCAD, Revit (Structural), or BIM tools (preferred).

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of structural design principles, load analysis and material behavior.
• Strong grasp of building codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, etc.).
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
• Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills.

• Timeliness of deliverables and approvals.
• Reduction in design-related site issues and rework.
• Effective coordination with consultants and project teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
