Job Title: Student Recruitment Officer


Classification: Institutional Support

Reports To: Director of Admissions

Location: Saad Al Abdullah, Kuwait


Job Purpose

The Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for attracting, engaging, and enrolling prospective students into AIU programs. This role plays a key part in achieving the university’s enrollment goals through proactive outreach, personalized communication, and strong relationship-building with schools, organizations, and potential applicants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse student body.
  • Represent AIU at recruitment events, education fairs, and school visits.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community groups, and businesses to strengthen outreach.
  • Advise prospective students and parents on academic programs, admissions procedures, and financial aid opportunities.
  • Review applications, assist with the admissions process, and ensure timely follow-up with applicants.
  • Maintain consistent and personalized communication with prospective students throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Conduct campus tours, interviews, and informational sessions to promote AIU’s programs and campus life.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date program information is provided to applicants.
  • Manage applicant data using CRM systems and generate regular recruitment performance reports.
  • Analyze recruitment trends to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of university admissions processes and financial aid procedures.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (required).
  • Prior experience in student recruitment, admissions, or marketing (preferred).
  • Experience in higher education or customer relationship management is an advantage.
