Erica Burns Interiors is a growing, high-end residential interior design firm based in the DC area, dedicated to creating exceptional and timeless spaces. We are seeking a highly motivated, polished, and exceptionally organized Studio Coordinator to be the daily hub of our studio, supporting our CEO and design team.
This is a key hybrid role blending hands-on studio logistics, high-level administrative, and essential bookkeeping support. Please note, this is not a design role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities are grouped into three main areas:
Studio Operations & Logistics
- Studio Management: Maintain, organize, and manage the studio library of product samples and documents. Oversee inventory and coordinate all returns to design centers.
- Logistics: Manage all incoming/outgoing mail and packages (shipping/receiving), including regular trips to UPS/FedEx/post office. Order and maintain all office supplies.
- Facility Management: Serve as the main point of contact for the landlord, managing rent, utilities, general maintenance, and studio updates.
- Design Support: Provide crucial logistical support for the design team, including running project-related errands (sample pick-up/delivery), assisting with on-site installation setup, and managing project signage.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate team events, client/team gifting, and firm calendar logistics, including vendor presentations/lunch-and-learns.
Accounting & Compliance Support
- Bookkeeping Assistance: Manage all non-project related firm expenses and monitor incoming invoices for filing and reconciliation.
- Financial Coordination: Support the Director of Operations and Bookkeeper as needed for firm accounting deadlines.
- Compliance: Maintain various licenses and registrations and serve as the main contact for insurance brokers, handling enrollments and certificate maintenance.
Administrative and Client Support
- Executive Support: Assist the CEO with miscellaneous administrative duties, including travel coordination, email organization, and errands as needed.
- Project Documentation: Set up files and documents for new clients and coordinate the creation of the comprehensive end-of-project client manuals.
- Communication: Create internal firm updates (e.g., vendor/industry) and support the Director of Operations with new client/hire agreements.
- Post-Project: Coordinate post-project activities, including supporting the punch list process and facilitating in the scheduling of professional photo shoots.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
