General Manager Position

We are seeking a sales-driven, people-focused General Manager to lead our studio. This role is ideal for a confident self-starter who thrives in performance-based environments, loves working with people, and takes ownership over results.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all studio operations while driving revenue through membership growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Growth

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation through close.
  • Execute inbound and outbound outreach via calls, texts, emails, and in-person follow-ups.
  • Run ads on Meta, track and analyze their performance.
  • Convert leads into trial classes and memberships.
  • Track sales metrics and consistently meet or exceed monthly goals.
  • Monitor revenue performance.
  • Engage with first time customers to convert to membership and credit pack sales.

Customer Service & Community Engagement

  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards.
  • Address client needs for membership management.
  • Address administrative functions of the studio daily--responding to client emails, phone calls and in-person customer service matters.
  • Build strong member relationships to increase retention, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships.
  • Maintain and elevate the studio’s brand presence in the local market.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee scheduling and daily studio operations.
  • Check clients-in to class.
  • Maintain studio tidiness, cleanliness, inventory, and presentation.
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures.
  • Handle escalated customer matters with professionalism and discretion.

Systems & Administration

  • Oversee studio software and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records, forms, and administrative systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all studio matters.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in sales management is required.
  • Prior studio or gym experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong personal sales ability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional judgment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and boutique fitness.
  • Confident in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfortable with software systems and administrative workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $52,000-$75,000 annually (based on experience and performance bonus pay structure).

Bonus: Based on overall studio revenue and growth.
