As an Accounting and Finance intern at Fort Wayne Metals, you’ll gain hands-on experience across our Accounting and Finance departments. We’re seeking students who are pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and have a strong interest in building a career in business.

In this role, you’ll complete impactful projects for our corporate teams, working on everything from employee support and data analysis to fund management, product marketing, and customer communications. If you’re energized by these areas, this is the ideal internship to grow your skills.

Relationship-building and communication are at the heart of what we do, so you’ll collaborate closely with team members to bring projects to life. Internship assignments are tailored to match each intern’s strengths and the current needs of the business, ensuring you get the most out of your experience.

Overview of the Internship Program

As a Wired for Success intern, you'll dive into dynamic, project-based work. If selected, you’ll be matched with a team and project that aligns with your unique skills and interests. Every position offers a fresh challenge based on the company's current needs. Previous interns have led exciting initiatives such as organizing large-scale events, engineering cutting-edge machines, designing innovative buildings, and so much more. Education & Experience Requirements

Must be enrolled in college or university
Previous internship experience is preferred
Must be pursuing a degree in a related field

Job Responsibilities

Work 40 hours a week
Working with the assigned mentor and team to complete your project
Will vary based on project details

Skills Needed

Ability to work independently
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors
Sitting/standing for long periods of time
