Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all children. You will be responsible for guiding activities, fostering friendships, and supporting the personal growth of each child. Ideal candidates should have a passion for working with children and possess skills in behavior management and childhood development.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities that promote teamwork and creativity.
- Foster a positive culture by encouraging children to build friendships and develop social skills.
- Provide guidance and support to children in resolving conflicts or challenges they may face.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Assist in the organization of special events or themed days throughout the summer session.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including administering first aid when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare settings or educational environments is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively lead groups of children.
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and behavior management techniques is beneficial.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is preferred but can be obtained upon hiring.
- Christian principles.
