- Coordinate with approved suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials, goods, and services.
- Track purchase orders and follow up to avoid delays or shortages.
- Evaluate supplier performance related to delivery, quality, and cost.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors and negotiating pricing/contracts where required.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Monitor daily inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and support annual physical audits.
- Generate inventory reports and share forecasts with internal teams.
- Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams.
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoice, packing list, GRN, etc.)
- Support demand forecasting based on sales trends, seasonal variations, and customer orders.
- Align supply plans with production and sales teams.
- Identify potential supply risks and propose mitigation steps.
- Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, lead time, and fulfillment rate.
- Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety norms, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare weekly/monthly supply chain performance reports.
