Resposibilities:
  • Analyze and report the local ecosystem for shipbuilding activity.
  • Cross-categorize a list of items used for different projects.
  • Scan the market and develop an approved local suppliers list for each item category.
  • Follow up with potential local suppliers to supply items with the required specifications.
  • Follow the internal process for technical approval of items, including testing or third-party certification.
  • Ensure that local suppliers have the necessary capability to meet our requirements for each item.
  • Identify the localization rate and value for each item and equipment.
  • Contact potential international suppliers and discuss the possibility of manufacturing in the local market.
  • Collaborate with procurement to negotiate prices, best terms, and conditions, and finalize local supplier contracts.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the required supply chain localization rate for each project.
  • Manage the collection and supply of acceptance criteria and update the localization crediting value for each project.
Requiremenets:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, localization, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the shipbuilding industry and related supply chain processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and supplier relationship management.
  • Minimum 10 years in shipbuilding, production, and supplier development.
