Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the complete procurement and supply chain operations for transmission line and electrical infrastructure materials. The role involves vendor management, negotiation, timely procurement, and ensuring quality and cost efficiency in all purchases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement of materials for transmission line projects including:
- 33kV Poles
- Conductors
- Fabrication items
- Transformers
- Other transmission and substation materials
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and pricing agreements.
- Handle price negotiations and finalize procurement contracts ensuring best commercial terms.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate logistics to ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure proper documentation of material movement.
- Work closely with the Project, Engineering, and Finance teams to align supply chain activities with project requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline procurement processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Qualification: Graduate in Engineering / Diploma in Electrical / MBA in Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in procurement and supply chain management within the Power Sector or Renewable Energy industry.
