We’re seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the coordination of materials, resources, and information across our dynamic
Aerospace supply chain.
This position requires a
strong background in Aerospace manufacturing,
exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with raw material suppliers while building strong relationships and ensure compliance with stringent Aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100).

Supplier & Procurement Management: Identify, qualify, and manage aerospace-grade suppliers. Negotiate contracts to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Production Support: Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components to support production schedules and new product introductions.

Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance production needs, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

Logistics Oversight: Supervise inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, MRO, and distribution operations.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to aerospace regulations, export controls, and ethical sourcing practices. Maintain documentation for audits and certifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, quality, sales, and finance teams to align forecasts and demand planning with business goals.

Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and implement lean practices and cost-saving measures.

Leadership & Team Development: Oversee Purchasing, PO Creation, Receiving/Raw Material, MRO, Kitting, and Shipping/Packaging teams. Define departmental goals, manage staffing and recruiting, and ensure employee training aligns with policies and customer requirements.
Essential Duties

Oversee material inventory, production progress, and scheduling factors.

Develop bid specifications and ensure compliance for procurement.

Manage the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) program.

Approve expenditures with proper justification.

Analyze departmental data to inform decisions and actions.

Communicate effectively across all levels of staff and leadership.

Promote continuous improvement and process optimization.
Required Education And Experience

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

5 years of experience in related field

3-5 years of experience as a supervisor or Manager
Preferred Education And Experience

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

Full Time

Generally, works Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm

Occasional evenings or weekends, as needed
