Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain team across Purchasing, Material Control, and Shipping/Receiving
  • Drive material availability to support production schedules while reducing shortages and expedites
  • Manage suppliers: on-time delivery, pricing, capacity alignment, scorecards, and corrective actions
  • Own inventory accuracy: transaction discipline, cycle counting, root-cause fixes, and reporting
  • Ensure traceability and documentation: certs, lot/heat traceability, and AS9100-style rigor
  • Oversee receiving and shipping execution, prioritization, and ERP transactions
  • Establish and manage lead times, safety stock, reorder points, and shortage prevention
  • Partner daily with Production, Engineering, and Quality to support schedules and customer requirements
  • Hire, coach, and hold the line on accountability for Supply Chain team performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain/purchasing leadership (aerospace, machining, or precision manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong ERP competency (inventory control, purchasing, reporting, transaction discipline)
  • Experience with metals, hardware, tooling, and aerospace/industrial suppliers
  • Comfortable with documentation, certs, traceability, and compliance expectations

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
