JD for System Support Engineer
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, both onsite and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network devices.

Manage and monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.

Assist with user administration tasks, including account creation, permissions, and password management.

Maintain and update system documentation, including installation guides, process workflows, and troubleshooting logs.

Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices to provide optimal support.
Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in a system support or IT support role.

Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.

Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and security (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).

Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, servers, printers, and peripherals.

Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
