Job Description

Position Title : Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Pune, India

A Day in the Life

As a Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership to ensure project success. You will report to the Manager from LS GCC and work onsite in Pune, India.

Your Responsibilities

  • Complete all mandatory trainings of QMS and project development to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle including analysis, implementation, testing, debugging, and support.
  • Deliver well-tested, error-free code that meets project requirements and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with project team members to coordinate development processes and meet deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to bug reports and ensure timely resolution.
  • Write code following specified standards including pseudo code, comments, unit testing, and best practices.
  • Complete FTPS and FTPC product technical and functional training.
  • Install and configure FTPC/FTPS and related software components.
  • Develop in FTPS Phase, FTPC Forms, Reports, Labels, EIHub channels, Use-cases, and EIHub configurations.
  • Complete assigned stories on JIRA and provide regular progress updates to the team.
  • Perform and document unit testing of developed code, coordinating with leads for review and closure of JIRA items.
  • Conduct customer site installations for Dev, Quality, and Production environments with proper documentation.
  • Provide support for customer-reported issues and testing activities.
  • Engage in technical solution discussions with leads, perform R&D, and contribute to requirement analysis.
  • Conduct code reviews for developed code, analyzing risks and impacts on existing systems.

The Essentials – You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3–8 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with FTPS/FTPC products, installation, and configuration.
  • Proficiency in coding standards, unit testing, and debugging practices.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

  • Experience with EIHub channels, configurations, and use-case development.
  • Exposure to customer site installations and production support.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk and impact assessment during code reviews.
