Tableau Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Tableau Business Intelligence Analysts to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Tableau dashboard development, data visualization best practices, and SQL-based data analysis. Experience in the Fintech or Financial Services domain is highly preferred, with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI deliverables.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business users to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Ensure dashboards follow best practices in visualization, usability, and performance optimization.
• Support ongoing BI initiatives, including documentation, testing, and version control for Tableau assets.
• Work with datasets specific to Financial Services/Fintech, such as transaction data, customer behavior data, risk metrics, and operational KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard creation, data blending, calculations, parameters, LOD expressions, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar).
• Hands-on experience working with Financial Services or Fintech data and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate insights clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
