Tailor Upholstery

The Tailor Upholstery is responsible for cutting, stitching, and fitting upholstery fabrics and materials to furniture and other items. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and knowledge of various textiles to restore or create upholstered products according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and sew upholstery materials like fabric, leather, and vinyl accurately.
• Repair and replace upholstery on furniture including chairs, sofas, and car interiors.
• Use hand and machine stitching techniques for tailored upholstery work.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and finish.
• Collaborate with designers or clients to meet custom upholstery requirements.
• Maintain and operate sewing machines and tools safely.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials and supplies for upholstery projects.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining craftsmanship standards.
