Role Overview

The Placement Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition function by managing job applications, initial screenings, interview scheduling, and timely follow-ups to ensure smooth recruitment progress. The role requires strong communication with the Talent Acquisition Lead, hiring teams, and external vendors, while maintaining accurate profile updates and assisting with HR administrative tasks. This position helps improve hiring efficiency, support successful placements, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply job openings across multiple platforms like LinkedIn, referrals, and databases.
  • Maintain application records for each candidate.
  • Manage profile updates.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct initial telephonic screening to evaluate basic fit.
  • Ensure timely follow-up
  • Act as the primary point of contact for applicants.
  • Handle communication between colleges and HR.
  • Support the HR team in general administrative tasks when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA/BA/Any Graduate).
  • 0–2 years of experience in recruitment or HR coordination (freshers can apply).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of hiring processes, job portals, and LinkedIn.
  • Good organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets is a must).
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written) are essential for this role.

  • Ability to work under timelines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong coordination and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with IT roles/skills is an added advantage.

KPIs / Performance Indicators

· Volume of job submissions completed per candidate profile within set timelines.

· Timely follow-ups and status tracking on all applications until feedback is received.

· Effective coordination and response turnaround with hiring partners, agencies, and job-posting vendors.

· Closure rate / successful hiring outcomes driven through consistent follow-ups and coordination with stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
