HR Director, you’ll be responsible for making sure Chick-fil-A Dartmouth is Dartmouth’s most caring company for all guests. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our team culture, supporting our staff, and building systems that help people thrive. You’ll be responsible for leading all HR functions—from hiring and onboarding to payroll, compliance, and employee care. You'll ensure every team member feels supported, valued, and equipped to succeed from day one and every day after.
Position Type:

30-40 hours per week, on-site, open availability preferred.
Job Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and Chick-fil-A policies related to employment practices.

Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. This includes advertising hiring on social media, job postings, and signage.

Design and conduct effective interview processes to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience. Lead weekly Open House Interviews.

Lead onboarding and orientation for all new hires to ensure a smooth and successful start. Conduct new hire check-ins and exit interviews.

Manage daily time punch adjustments, including tracking sick time, PTO requests, cell phone allowances, and uniform allowances.

Submit and track uniform orders for all team members, ensuring correct sizes and timely distribution.

Managing and monitoring employee relations along with the Director of Operations.

Implement strategies for team member development, including performance feedback, coaching, and identification of growth opportunities within the organization.

Support the performance review process, providing guidance to leadership on setting goals, delivering feedback, and addressing performance issues.

Employee disciplinary tracking: uploading One Click infractions and upholding the Accountability Points Policy.

Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR-related documentation such as incident reports, and ensure efficient administrative processes.

Partner effectively with the Operator and other leaders to align talent strategies with business goals and operational needs.

Assist with in-restaurant operations as needed

Attend bi-weekly Director’s meetings

Operational hours between 12-2pm and 5-8pm

Spanish speaking is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

1-2 Proven experience in a human resources or talent management role, preferably within the hospitality or retail industry.
