Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tampa Business Attorney to join our reputable law firm. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel to corporate clients, handle complex legal matters, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse cases across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and more. The Tampa Business Attorney will play a vital role in advising clients, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in negotiations and litigation.

Duties

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on various business-related issues, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and legal opinions.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and other legal correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Represent clients in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Manage case files efficiently within the law office environment, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay informed about current laws and regulations affecting clients’ interests through ongoing research and professional development.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in court proceedings when necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies tailored to client needs.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Experience with legal administrative tasks within a busy law office environment.
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis independently.
  • Familiarity with legal drafting standards and procedures.
