Key Roles and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Group's tax governance framework and internal control processes. Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all corporate tax obligations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings. Manage the preparation and timely filing of tax returns (corporate income tax, GST, withholding taxes, Pillar 2, etc.) across Singapore and/SEA region, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any tax audits, disputes, or inquiries from tax authorities, and offering effective solutions. Lead and manage Singapore GST health checks and provide GST advisory support to the Group. Manage external advisors in BEPS implementation for Singapore and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure calculations and necessary filings are made on a timely basis. Business partnering by advising and leading the tax implementation of projects including ETR planning projects, group restructuring, new investments/acquisitions/ transactions/funding, etc. Timely communication on tax matters to reduce unexpected risks. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Minimum 8 years of relevant Singapore corporate tax and GST experience in Big 4 firms and/or as an in-house tax advisor, with the latter preferred. Experience reviewing and managing tax matters in SEA countries is an advantage. Degree in Accounting/Tax, or accredited tax professional (Income Tax or GST). Strong tax analytical skills including in tax effect accounting Strong team player with collaboration, accountability, and leadership skills in working with external advisors and internal stakeholders. Able to adapt communication style to different audiences. Resilient, detail-oriented, and able to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines. Growth mindset with adaptability to changes in internal and external tax environments. Tenacious and persistent in seeing tasks and projects through to
