Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to work with children aged 1 to 3 years old. The ideal candidates will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment that promotes early childhood development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, fostering social and emotional growth, and supporting children's individual needs through tailored activities and classroom management. Experience with early childhood education, including toddler care and preschool experience, is highly valued to ensure a positive learning experience for our young learners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development principles.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and social development.
  • Manage classroom activities to promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development.
  • Support children’s behavioral management through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs, including special education or early intervention requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results.
  • Ensure child welfare by adhering to safety protocols and promoting health guidelines within the classroom setting.
  • Incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies as appropriate to enhance learning experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and classroom management.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, teaching physical education, tutoring, and literacy education.
  • Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience with preschool programs is a plus.
  • Compassionate approach to childcare with a focus on child welfare and emotional well-being.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners including those requiring additional support such as special education or early intervention services. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
