Education
- Minimum of 60 semester hours of post secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of full time employment experience
Job Summary
The Teacher Assistant will provide support to lead teachers in a daycare environment, assisting with classroom supervision, instruction, and daily operations to ensure a safe and engaging setting for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and supervision.
- Support small groups or individual students under the direction of the lead teacher.
- Help prepare and organize learning materials.
- Perform clerical, administrative, and non instructional tasks as assigned.
- Ensure student safety and well being at all times.
- Support positive classroom management and student engagement.
