Position Overview

The Team Lead – Recruiter will be responsible for leading the hiring efforts for the Fundraising Team, ensuring the organization attracts and onboards high-performing fundraising executives, telecallers, field fundraisers, donor acquisition staff, and team leaders. This role involves managing end-to-end recruitment, team coordination, and ensuring staffing needs for fundraising projects are met on priority.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment Management

  • Lead and manage the hiring cycle for Fundraising, Donor Acquisition, and Telefundraising teams.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, walk-ins, job fairs, and agencies.
  • Screen, interview, evaluate, and shortlist candidates based on role requirements.
  • Handle high-volume hiring with quick turnaround times.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor junior recruiters/HR executives involved in fundraising hiring.
  • Set daily targets for the recruitment team and ensure timely closures.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback and training.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Fundraising Managers, Project Leads, and Regional Heads to understand manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, selection processes, and onboarding with multiple departments.

4. MIS, Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Maintain recruitment trackers, dashboards, and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Analyze hiring challenges and propose solutions to improve hiring efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational recruitment policies and timelines.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • High-volume hiring experience (preferred in fundraising, sales, customer support)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong sourcing techniques: portals, social media, networking
  • Good negotiation, coordination, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of NGO fundraising roles is an added advantage

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead role.
  • Experience in hiring for fundraising, sales, BPO, or telecalling roles preferred.
  • Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods highly preferred.
  • Mumbai-based candidates or those willing to relocate to Nahur HO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
