technical , designer and detailer steel structure

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer, Detailer, and Designer with strong experience in steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality engineering drawings, 3D models, connection details, and design calculations to support fabrication and installation works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for steel structures.
• Develop accurate 3D models using software such as Tekla Structures / AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Advance Steel.
• Perform structural analysis and design calculations according to international standards.
• Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and bill of materials (BOM).
• Provide technical support to production, QA/QC, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, safety standards, and quality norms.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in steel structure detailing or design.
• Strong knowledge of steel codes (AISC, BS, Eurocode, etc.).
• Proficiency in Tekla, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Robot, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in industrial steel structures, warehouses, platforms, pipe racks, or high-rise steel buildings.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
