Service Line: Risk Advisory

Sub Service Line: FRM

Designation: Director

Location: Mumbai

  • What will you do 

Operational Due Diligence

  • Conduct buy-side and sell-side operational assessments to identify risks, synergies, and value creation opportunities.
  • Evaluate target company operations, IT systems, supply chain, HR, finance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Deliver executive-level reports with actionable recommendations for deal structuring and integration readiness. 

Integration & Separation Planning

  • Develop and manage integration and separation playbooks , including Day 1 readiness and post-close execution plans.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Legal) to ensure seamless integration or carve-out.
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks, dependencies, and cultural alignment challenges. 

Execution & Governance

  • Establish governance frameworks for integration/separation programs, including status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Drive synergy realization and monitor KPIs for financial and operational performance post-close.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between client leadership, functional teams, and external advisors. 

Client Advisory & Business Development

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on M&A strategy and operational readiness.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for M&A services and lead client proposals.
  • Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities for growth in the M&A advisory practice.

  • Qualifications 

E ducation : MBA or equivalent in Finance, Strategy, or related field. 

Experience : 12–15+ years in M&A advisory, consulting, or corporate development, with deep expertise in operational due diligence and integration/separation. 

Skills :

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in synergy analysis, operational risk assessment, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
