Technical Oversight & Coordination
- Lead and manage all technical activities across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve design and construction-related issues.
- Evaluate design changes and provide technical recommendations or value-engineering solutions.
2. Design Management
- Manage the design review process to ensure constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all drawings and documents are up to date and properly controlled.
- Oversee coordination between design consultants and construction teams to eliminate conflicts and ensure smooth implementation.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Implement and monitor project quality standards and technical specifications.
- Support QA/QC teams in conducting inspections and audits.
- Ensure that construction activities adhere to statutory regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
4. Project Planning & Support
- Provide technical input during tendering, estimation, and project planning stages.
- Review and approve construction methodologies, material submittals, and work procedures.
- Support project scheduling, ensuring that technical deliverables are aligned with project milestones.
5. Stakeholder & Team Management
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal departments for technical approvals and coordination.
- Supervise and mentor engineers, draftsmen, and coordinators within the technical team.
- Conduct technical meetings and workshops to ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural systems.
- Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Ability to manage multiple technical interfaces under tight deadlines.
