• Lead R&D projects to develop new concrete mix designs, improving durability, strength, and environmental performance.
• Research alternative raw materials and admixtures that can enhance product quality while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with suppliers and industry experts to stay updated on innovative products and technologies for concrete production.
• Create, evaluate, and optimize concrete mix designs to meet specific project requirements, performance standards, and customer needs.
• Supervise and mentor the R&D and QC teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and excellence.
• Conduct regular training sessions on new technologies, industry standards and quality procedures to ensure the technical team is well- informed and skilled.
• Provide Support to team members in complex problem- solving situations and encourage knowledge sharing across departments.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop solutions for client- specific requirements
• Offer technical expertise on- site when necessary to oversee mix performance, assist in project planning, and resolve quality- related challenges.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings to understand client expectations and ensure alignments with technical capabilities

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Concrete Technology, or a related field.

● 10+ years of experience in concrete production, R&D, and quality control, preferably in the ready-mix industry.

● In-depth knowledge of concrete mix design, material properties, and testing protocols.

● Familiarity with ASTM, ACI, and other relevant industry standards and regulations.

● Proficiency in technical software for concrete mix design, QC, and data analysis.

● Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

● Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with effective communication skills. ● Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
