Urgent Hiring: TECHNICAL MANAGER - Joinery / Wood Factory

Job Summary

We are urgently hiring a Technical Manager for a joinery/wood factory based in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge in wood fabrication, shop drawings, site coordination, and factory workflow management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical department (drawings, material submittals, method statements, approvals)
• Review and approve joinery designs, shop drawings, BOQs, materials, finishes, and hardware
• Coordinate between design, production, and site teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Solve technical issues related to site execution, design changes, and coordination conflicts
• Supervise draftsmen, site engineers, QC, and production teams
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with specifications
• Communicate with Project Managers, clients, and consultants for technical matters
• Support procurement and improve factory workflow efficiency
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and production output to project sites

Skills Qualifications

• 8-10 years of proven experience in joinery/wood manufacturing and site execution
• Strong knowledge of wood materials, fabrication techniques, finishes, and hardware
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings (AutoCAD proficiency preferred)
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Excellent communication skills (English required)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
• Willing to travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required

Preferred/ Additional Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma: Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Carpentry Technology, or similar
• Experience in hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential joinery projects
• Knowledge of factory QC processes and installation procedures
• Familiarity with Saudi/Gulf standards and joinery codes
• Experience with procurement or material sourcing
