We are seeking a highly skilled and confident Presales / Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. This role combines deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure with strong communication and client-facing capabilities. You will lead the design of cloud architectures, perform accurate resource sizing, and develop comprehensive, client-ready cloud adoption and migration plans. As a trusted advisor, you will present, justify, and refine your solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Develop detailed cloud architecture diagrams covering infrastructure, networking, storage, compute, and security components.
- Engage with clients to understand business drivers, technical challenges, and requirements, translating them into effective cloud solutions.
- Present and pitch solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
- Justify architectural decisions using industry standards, Azure-native capabilities, and proven best practices.
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.
- Stay current with Azure updates, emerging technologies, and evolving architectural best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity, and security services.
- Strong understanding of the Azure Pricing Calculator, TCO methodologies, and cost optimization strategies.
- Proven experience creating cloud architecture diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor content to diverse audiences.
- Strong client engagement and consultative presales experience, particularly in solution design or architecture roles.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning with strong technical curiosity.
- Knowledge of cloud governance, compliance frameworks, and landing zone design.
- Azure certifications—such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)—are preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and automation tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
- Background in systems engineering, enterprise IT, or cloud migration initiatives.
