The Demand Management Specialist facilitates and coordinates the centralized project demand management processes from intake through to execution. The demand specialists are the primary AT liaison to the requesting business channel and responsible for ensuring process compliance and timely completion of process steps. This individual will be responsible for receiving the demand, consulting throughout the various stages of the demand process and will assist in gathering the necessary information to fully qualify and plan for the execution of the request.
Work with assigned customers/areas to translate business requirements into application/system solutions.

Acts as a liaison with other process teams and consults on demand processes

Secures necessary information & artifacts required to qualify the request.

Upholds integrity of incoming demand record

Communicator of demand management process to other departments, business partners, vendors to facilitate and support the demand process

Coordinates and prioritizes the volume of incoming demand based on process guidelines

Responds to questions throughout the qualification process

Coordinates communications, including those Ensures the business owner and stakeholders are kept up-to-date on the request status.

Facilitates demand scheduling activities in coordination with the estimator

Maintains knowledge of demand process and tool and supports updates and improvements

Excellent facilitation skills

Instills a sense of urgency in driving to completion; escalates issues as needed with demand leaders and internal IT stakeholders

Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles while tailoring the messaging based on audience

Builds trust and respect with key stakeholders

Serve customers as a key point of contact.

Manage customer expectations and ensures prompt and complete customer service.

Form productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community.

Produce project plans, RFP's, and RFI's.

Customize presentations to the interests of the audience.

Conduct diagnosis of most business problems.

Design, direct and perform analyses to resolve complex first-time project issues including analysis of technical and economic feasibility of proposed system solutions.

Design projects with broad implications requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms.

Lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs.

Participate in the design of technical requirements for the application/solution.

Serve as a staff resource and mentor regarding understanding of architectural systems.
Education:
-
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- BS in IT or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

5 + years related experience (demand management, project estimation and planning)
-
ServiceNow experience
-
Operational familiarity with IT services and experience interacting with vendors as it relates to planning and estimating the delivery of such services

Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred
