Position Overview
The Telugu Teacher is responsible for teaching Telugu language, literature, and culture to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills in Telugu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Telugu lessons for assigned grade levels.
  • Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and conversational Telugu.
  • Introduce students to Telugu literature, poetry, stories, and cultural heritage.
  • Design age-appropriate learning materials, worksheets, and assessments.
  • Evaluate and track student progress; provide feedback and support where needed.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create an encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Organize and participate in school events, including Telugu Day, cultural programs, and competitions.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies, curriculum standards, and academic guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telugu, Language Studies, or a related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
  • Prior teaching experience in a school environment (desirable).
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Telugu.
  • Ability to use teaching aids, digital tools, and interactive methods.
