  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar discipline required.
  • Five years’ experience in sales management in a B2B industrial environment
    • specific experience in industrial, chemical, mining, oil & gas, or construction sectors preferred.
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, driving sales engagement, reporting and compliance with KPI’s.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record MVR.

About Your Role

The Gulf Coast Territory Sales Manager will oversee the assigned Account Managers within the sales department in the Gulf Coast Region, with emphasis in TX, OK, AL & LA. This position will collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and other members of senior leadership to develop pricing strategies, analytic modeling, and sales planning. The Territory Sales Manager will also execute sales training and develop their team based on team needs. Market strategy will be set by the Territory Manager based on growth goals, territory targets and verticals in collaboration with the Commercial VP’s and the Chief Commercial Officer. The Territory Manager will partner with Marketing to ensure that the growth plan and marketing strategies are fully aligned.


Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Monitoring the performance of individual team members and providing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to help them improve and achieve their goals.
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve targets, penetrate new markets and onboard new customers.
  • Aligning sales goals and targets for the team based on company objectives and market analysis.
  • Managing the sales budget effectively, including allocating resources, tracking expenses, and optimizing spending to maximize ROI.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in sales and management through continuous learning and professional development.

Supervisory Responsibilities

    • The position supervises or manages the work of at least two full-time employees or the equivalent. The position includes decisions or recommendations regarding personnel actions such as hiring, disciplinary action, overtime, changes in pay, and terminations.

Working Conditions

    • The work environment is the typical virtual office environment. The employee must complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including staff, clients, and vendors walking through and conversing, telephones ringing, conversations carrying over, loud noises, and interruptions to answer questions from others.
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and should do so in a sound and safe manner. This job’s specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • May be required to work irregular hours, nights and weekends or holidays and may be required to work on-call activities.
