Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver subject-specific lessons for classes 6 to 10, according to the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Design and implement lesson plans using engaging instructional strategies, digital resources, and a variety of teaching aids.
- Assess, record, and report students’ progress through tests, assignments, projects, and formative assessments.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation, discipline, and inclusivity.
- Provide academic guidance, remedial support, and enrichment to students with diverse learning needs.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including board exams where applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues, participate in curriculum development, school events, and teacher training workshops.
- Maintain communication with parents regarding student performance and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
- Uphold school values, policies, and contribute to the holistic development of students, including co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Skill Sets
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Sound subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate technology, promote critical thinking, and adapt instruction for diverse learners.
- Team spirit, willingness to participate in school life, and a commitment to professional growth.
