Key Responsibilities
:
Curriculum Delivery
:
-
Plan and teach computer science lessons in accordance with CBSE ICT syllabus and Cambridge Computing curriculum.

Introduce students to computer fundamentals, typing skills, responsible internet use, basic software applications, and block-based coding (e.g., Scratch, Blockly).

Design integrated, inquiry-based lessons that align with interdisciplinary learning goals.
Teaching & Learning
:
-
Use age-appropriate pedagogy and digital tools to create engaging, activity-based lessons.
-
Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs of primary students.
-
Incorporate hands-on, project-based learning to develop critical thinking and collaboration.
Assessment & Reporting
:
-
Design and administer formative and summative assessments per CBSE and Cambridge standards.
-
Maintain accurate records of student progress, portfolios, and performance.
-
Contribute to student reports and parent-teacher conferences.
Digital Citizenship & Tech Integration
:
-
Teach and model responsible use of technology, digital ethics, and online safety.

Support other subject teachers in integrating technology meaningfully in classroom practice.
Professional Duties
:

Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and school events.

Stay updated with advancements in educational technology and curriculum changes.

Contribute to the overall growth and development of the ICT program in the school.
Qualifications & Experience
:

Education
: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or any discipline with Diploma in Computer Applications; B.Ed. preferred.

Experience
: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching primary computer science, in a CBSE/ Cambridge curriculum.

Strong command of ICT tools and platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, educational apps)
