Job Title: TGT/PRT Computer Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Computer Science teacher to join our team!

Open Positions:

• TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Computer Science
• PRT (Primary Teacher) Computer Science (For Grades 1-5)

Qualifications:

• TGT:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 50% marks.
• PRT:
• Bachelor's degree in computers with a minimum of 50% marks.

Additional Requirements (All Positions):

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, programming concepts, and software applications.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Scratch) and software tools.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical concepts to students.
• Passion for teaching and fostering a love for computer science in students.
• Experience in teaching computer science (preferred but not always required for PRT positions).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school's computer science curriculum.
• Teach fundamental concepts of computer science, programming logic, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
• Guide students in hands-on projects, coding exercises, and software applications relevant to their grade level.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to computer science.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and educational tools relevant to computer science education.
