TIG Welder/Fabricator
Responsibilities

Primary

• Tig weld Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Cold Rolled Sheet Metal Parts and Assemblies
• Mig weld mild steel and stainless steel sheet metal parts and assemblies when required

Secondary

• Finish, Correct or rework sheet metal assemblies using hand tools and other skilled methods of fabrication.
• Track jobs and parts welded using simple documentation and electronic devices.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• Must effectively read and interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings.
• Applicant must follow work order directions and safely produce the required quantity of parts efficiently, and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality.
• Applicant is required to perform inspection on their own work to prove dimensional tolerances and cosmetic requirements are met.
• Must understand how to fill out and use simple reports as directed.
• Press brake is a plus but not required
• Water jet operation/Simple CAD/CAM knowledge a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
