Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, classroom management, and effective caregiving techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere for young children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers
  • Provide attentive supervision and care to ensure the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom
  • Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive social interactions among children
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and needs
  • Manage classroom routines including meal times, naps, diaper changes, and transitions between activities
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that aligns with curriculum standards
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored strategies and accommodations

Skills

  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain a structured yet flexible learning environment
  • Ability to handle behavior management effectively with patience and professionalism
  • Certification in first aid and CPR preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Compassionate caregiving attitude with a genuine love for nurturing young learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with classroom experience, babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles is advantageous

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
