Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The toddler teacher will implement age-appropriate curricula, engage children in educational activities, and ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians on progress.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for children.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.

Skills

• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare or preschool environments.
• Knowledge of caregiving practices that promote healthy development in infants and toddlers.
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among students.
• Experience in early childhood education, with a focus on creating engaging learning experiences.
• Ability to educate children effectively while maintaining patience and empathy.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Pay: $14.52 - $18.51 per hour
