Total Station (TS) Operator

Key Responsibilities

Conduct land surveying using Total Station, DGPS, Auto Level for utility-scale solar projects.

Perform layout marking of module mounting structures (MMS), inverter rooms, roads, trenches, cable routes, fencing, and drainage.

Carry out topographical surveys, contour mapping, and boundary demarcation.

Provide accurate reference points and coordinates for civil and electrical construction teams.

Ensure alignment of structures as per project drawings, SLD, and engineering specifications.

Maintain all survey records, coordinate logs, as-built survey data, and daily survey reports.

Check coordinates, levels, and alignment during excavation, foundation and structure erection.

Work with the design & planning team for drawing corrections and field verification.

Ensure equipment calibration, maintenance, and safe operation at site.

Support contractor & government inspection teams whenever required.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Total Station equipment (Leica / Sokkia / Trimble or similar models).

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel & survey data processing software.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GPS coordinates & levels.

Ability to operate independently and ensure high precision.

Field execution knowledge in solar / transmission / industrial projects.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Survey Certification / B.Tech in Civil / Electrical (Preferred).

2–8 years survey experience in Solar EPC / Infrastructure projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
