Hiring : Petroleum Supply Specialist
Experience : 3–7 Years
Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Role overview:
Responsible for the end-to-end execution of ex-tank deliveries. Once a trader books a deal, the Operations Officer manages all operational steps—from deal handover through loading, movement, discharge, and documentation—ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive deal handover, verify product availability, tank ullage, specs, and timelines.
• Coordinate with tank farm/terminal for loading slots, sampling, testing, and release orders.
• Arrange trucks and manage all logistics until discharge at client site.
• Track movement, resolve delays, breakdowns, documentation issues, and border/customs hurdles.
• Prepare and manage delivery notes, gate passes, weighbridge tickets, COQ, SGS/Intertek reports.
• Maintain real-time stock reconciliation and daily tank dips; report variances.
• Communicate with clients on schedules, ETAs, changes, and complaints.
• Escalate quality issues, shortages, contamination, or regulatory queries immediately.
• Produce daily stock reports, delivery execution reports, and transporter performance KPIs.
Required skills:
• Strong operational understanding of petroleum loading, logistics, inspection, and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate multi-party operations under pressure.
• Accurate documentation and inventory discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and field-level decision-making.
• Good communication with terminals, transporters, clients, and traders.
Experience:
• 3–7 years in petroleum operations, ex-tank operations, fuel logistics, or terminal/tank-farm handling.
• Experience working in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, or the DRC is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SGS/Intertek inspection processes, border procedures, and customs documentation.
